Dedicated to providing palliative, hospice, and end-of-life care for pets
Greenwood Veterinary Hospice is a special kind of practice.
Our doctors and staff are all truly passionate about providing pets comfort and dignity in their final stage of life, and in ensuring that the special bond between pets and their families remains strong throughout the process.
Our Story
After years of working in general practice, emergency medicine, and house-call practice, Dr. Sarah always felt particularly honoured to be able to help numerous patients and their owners through the end-of-life journey.
She considered herself particularly blessed to have been able to offer palliative care to three of her own pets during their final months, and she began thinking of ways she could offer the same services to her clients.
So after 13 years of operating her Integrative Medicine House Call Practice, she decided to shift her focus and energy to providing in-home palliative care for her patients, as well as supporting her clients that are sharing this journey with their pets, and opened Greenwood Veterinary House Call Services.
